City Tour Iquitos (approx. 4 hours)

We start our city tour in the morning at the famous boulevard of Iquitos.
By boat we first visit the exciting district of Belen. The floating houses adapt to the water level during the season.

We then explore the market of Belen on foot. There are many exotic things to buy here. From caiman meat to various medicinal plants to jungle schnapps, you can buy everything here.

From the market of Belen we take a mototaxi. With this means of transport, which is typical for Iquitos, we drive to the Nanay district. Here we marvel at the longest bridge in Peru. Its length of 2283 meters is impressive. In addition, the bridge offers a beautiful view over the Nanay River and the Amazon. 

Afterwards, the brave will have the opportunity to eat the larva suri, a delicacy of the Amazon region. After visiting the market of Nanay, we take the motocarro back to the center of Iquitos, where our tour ends.
