Fullday Adventure Tour Rio Yarapa

We pick you up at your hotel at 5.30 a.m. The tour begins by driving in a private car for approximately 2 hours to Nauta. We have a small breakfast on the way.

From Nauta we start discovering the jungle by driving in a slow boat along the 2 main rivers of the Amazon (Marañon River and Ucayali River). We have the chance to spot two different river dolphins, the pink and the grey one along the riverside. We also visit a lake, where we can see the giant waterlilies.

We continue our adventure with a walk through the jungle searching together with the guide for wildlife. If you are lucky, you can observe various animals like monkey, sloth and birds. Your guide will share his knowledge about the large number of medicinal plants and trees. If you are adventurous you can also climb a tree or swing on a liana.

For lunchtime we stop in our basecamp. Where we also have a short time to relax and listen to the amazing sound of the jungle before we start our way back.

We take the boat to Nauta and in Nauta we change again to a car that arrives around 6-7 p.m. back to Iquitos.
